Armed robbers in Royal Oak found guilty

Back in January, a woman in Royal Oak called police saying she had been followed home from work by three men and that they were breaking into her house. Police were there quick, and were able to arrest two of the three men. The third was able to run away, but was arrested later. The officers recovered some stolen property and two handguns which were hidden in some bushes a few streets over.

All three were charged with conspiracy to commit home invasion, home invasion, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and assault with the intent to rob while armed. A few weeks ago, a jury found all three guilty on all three counts. They will be sentenced on Sept. 27. A press release issued by the Royal Oak Police Department pointed out that the officers and detectives worked very hard to bring the men to justice and that the case demonstrates the great work of the department.
