Army of Two is Great Game for the Handheld PSP

If You like Shooters Then This Game is for You

Army of Two is a great shooter for the handheld PSP system. It is also available on a variety of other systems, but since I played it first on a handheld I will keep my discussion to that version of the game. The game is actually a sequel. I did not get to play the original and you don't need to have played it to enjoy this game. The game has been upgraded with various custom weapons and can be played by either one or two players wirelessly for cooperative play.

The game sets up with you as mercenaries Rios and or Salem (depending on mode you chose) having a cooperative two man team that is operating in a disaster ravaged china. The game really does not have a whole lot of plot to it. There are tons of other mercenaries in the area and you end up fighting them for survival and try to make a few bucks in the process of solving the mystery of the 40th day initiative.

The graphics are awesome there are choppers flying around and you can actually looks like a high graphics cartoon. Cars come at you and you can see the wheels burning when they stop practically. The shooting is real realistic. The shells fly and you can see muzzle flash and also blowback from the guns. You can also make lots of choices. You can kill civilians, but if you help civilians they give you money or weapons. You can also kill or capture enemies. Typically if you sneak up on an officer his soldiers will give up then your partner can subdue them. It is much more likely civilians will live in this scenario than if you chose to kill them.

I think the game is really realistic and gives you more choices and chances to think than many shooters. I am actually going to get the version for my gaming system since I have had so much fun with it on my handheld. I have not finished it yet, so I can't speak of replay value. I am sure it would be really fun though.
