Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver Both Lawyer Up for Divorce

The "Terminator" Actor Chose Bob Kaufman While Shriver Went with Laura Wasser

Taking the proper actions in order to officially end their marriage, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have officially both hired lawyers.

The "Terminator" actor chose Bob Kaufman while Shriver has hired L.A-based family law attorney Laura Wasser.

Kaufman is no stranger to celebrity clients, as he famously represented Jennifer Aniston in her split from Brad Pitt and has also worked with Jessica Simpson and Reese Witherspoon.

Meanwhile Shriver hired Laura Wasser last month. The reputable family law attorney has handled a number of high profile, high net worth dissolutions including those of Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, just to name a few.

According to TMZ, the two attorneys have already been in touch as the former couple is already "moving forward" with divorce negotiations.

This won't be the first time Kaufman and Wasser have faced each other in court, though each is known for keeping their clients' cases extremely private.

Schwarzenegger and Shriver announced their plans to separate on May 10th following 25 years of marriage.

A week later, the former governor of California went public with the admission that he fathered a child with a longtime household employee over a decade ago.

According to FOX, the couple is believed to have a prenuptial agreement, though it may not stand in light of their long marriage and Schwarzenegger's infidelity.

Additionally, Maria and Arnold's net worth is estimated to be between $200 million and $400 million, making their divorce one of the most expensive celebrity splits ever.
