Arnold Schwarzenegger's Secret Child, the Truth is Out After 10 Years

When Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver announced their separation recently, the first question many people had was "Why?" Why was this couple, married for 25 years, separating? They have four children together. They may be on opposite ends of the political ladder, but so are many couples.



Finally, it has come out that Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child with a member of his household staff. This is what made the decision for Maria to pack up and hit the road, or actually to leave the mansion in Brentwood, California earlier this year.



According to MSN, Arnold Schwarzenegger told Maria Shriver about the child shortly after his term in office was over. He also stated that this '˜event' took place over 10 years ago. Does that make it any better, that it was '˜old news'? He went on to say that he understands why his friends and family are disappointed with him. He says he takes full responsibility, of course he should. He did the deed, he pays the piper.



Maria has no comment, according to her representative. Schwarzenegger has asked that the media leave his family alone. Come on, the media isn't going to leave this alone Arnold.



Arnold's '˜love child' was born before he became Governor of the state. Maria stood by her husband in 2003 when he was accused of groping women. I guess with the mother of the child he did a little more than groping.



Maria Shriver, a Kennedy, is quite used to being a news item. Little did the public know she would be in the news because her husband of 25 years fathered a child by another woman 10 years earlier.



Maria's life has changed many times over and is changing again. She's a strong woman, and strong women usually come out of these situations even stronger.



There was not much mention of the woman staffer or the child, and that's how it should be. But knowing the media all the information will be dug up before too long and plastered on the front page.



When a couple announces that they are splitting up after 25 years of marriage, there is usually a reason for it. It only took a week for us to find out what that reason was. Another marriage bites the dust because a man couldn't keep his pants on.
