Art Exhibition at Spring Arbor University
The Ganton Art Gallery at Spring Arbor University Will Feature Graduating Seniors' Work
Jackson, MI 49283
United States of America
The featured graduating seniors have spent countless hours devoted to their craft and building a portfolio. Community members are encouraged to stop by the art gallery and commend these individuals on their efforts.
One of the artists is Dylan Kingsley. He will feature sculpture artwork made from post-consumer materials including phone books, cardboard, and the like. With Earth Day occurring during the art show on April 22nd, this method of reusing material is very timely. Dylan specializes in topographical style landscapes created through layers of cardboard to emphasize ecology and recycling.
A second featured artist is Gloria Loucky. Gloria will display macro digital photography and graphite drawings to convey the natural beauty in leaves. She focuses on up-close photography of the natural world to interpret the beauty of creation.
Antonio Phillips focuses on animal strength and anatomy in his monoprint animal art. The style is unique and impressive.
Finally, Rachel Pifer shares her artwork about the human form. She uses various mediums, from colored pencils to pastels to illustrate the purity and beauty of the human form.
This art show encompasses a significant variety of styles and should be an excellent show. The Ganton Art Gallery is open on M-F from 9:00 - 5:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 - 5:00. For more information, contact Alison Breitenbach at (517) 750-6580.

Sounds interesting!
I attended Newman University in Wichita, KS and some of the local artists there are so wonderful. I admire such beauty and I have nothing in such talent as they do. Great reporting friend. Thanks. :-)
Local art shows and school art shows are good places to find interesting art work for your walls. Some of our favorite things are student work.
Too bad I won't be back up North for this. Sounds really wonderful.

I would love to see this. Post some photos please.
sounds great!
Our local community college (when I lived in Kankakee) used to showcase all of the students' artwork. I thought it was a great way to show community support and see some pretty amazing artwork as well.
