Art Mann Knows Where and How to Find "TV Gold"

If there is a party, a concert , a pub crawl or a major event with inebriated participants, Art Mann is on the scene. What is Art Mann most famous for ? Art Mann has taught the nation what butt glue is (I'm not explaining this). Art Mann coined the phrase TV Gold (someone that is so drunk they can't talk, walk or think coherently). Another phrase popular with the show, " Is it the booze or the shoes?" this is usually preceded by a reveler passed out on a stoop, sidewalk or face down in the mud.

Another popular aspect of the show is the list. The list always consists of usually two things and then a variation there after. 1) booze 2) condoms. You can always tell when they find a regular viewer because they immediately rattle off the list with number 1 and 2 at the top.

The participants are the stars of the show but Mann has a knack for finding TV Gold. Mann has that sixth sense for finding the most entertaining drunks in the crowd. The other aspect of the show are the bizarre events Art Mann chooses sometimes.

Hermosa Beach Version of the Ironman

This ironman is not your typical triathlon. The athletes chug a six pack of beer then paddle out on a surfboard to the pier and run back to the start finish line. It isn't clear if the goal is to throw up or not but Art manages to catch all the bodily functions in clear HD. While he is interviewing one participant another throws up on his back. I will spare you the video.

The Loudest Hole in Golf

Scottsdale, Arizona. A PGA Golf Tournament doesn't sound like a wild party but the 17th hole at the FBR Open is the biggest party on the PGA tour. The hole is surrounded by 30,000 fans in stadium style setting. Art found quite a few fans that were drinking from the start of the day. Art discovers while interviewing participants, less than half actually see any golf, the other half are pretty much half in the bag by noon.

Santa Pub Crawl in Reno

Take about 15 thousand people, dress them up in variations of Santa outfits (sometime the occasional reindeer), and feed them lots of beer. This is the formula for the Santa Pub Crawl and TV Gold on Art Mann. The last visit by Mann to Reno resulted in plenty of incoherently babbling Santas and scantily clad females for Mann to interview.

Night Club Convention in Las Vegas

The Night Club Convention features managers and club owners form across the country in one place. These guys know how to party and Art Mann knows how to find the women who are entertaining and have little covering themselves.

Porn Convention

You can only imagine what kind of trouble they can get into with a porn convention. Ron Jeremy makes his mandatory yearly appearance with Art and plenty of women with little or no clothing on. The funniest scene this year can't even be described in this article.

The Great American Beer Festival Plus

It doesn't get better than this for the Art Mann Presents crew. 48,000 people gathered around thousands of free beer samples. There is plenty of material here for Art to pull from. But wait that's not all--Mann finds out next door is a dirty toy convention.

Beer Pong World Championships in Las Vegas

Seriously this really is an event and they really do crown a world champion. Art finds cute females that are dressing down for their competition to get an edge. Funny to watch how seriously some of the "athletes" handle themselves.

Kentucky Oaks Day (Day before the Derby)

This show is an unexpected classic, from the wild and crazy hats to fun people who had a little too much to drink. The winner of the award for TV Gold winner of the year is in this episode. I'm sure he watched the show and thought "wow that guy is trashed---and he looks like me"

The show Art Mann Presents is on every Thursday night at 9 and 9:30 pm on HD Net channel 79 on Direct TV. It is also on throughout the weekend. If your easily offended by nudity this isn't the show for you.
