Art Study Programs Abroad for the Creative Student

Many art students study in Italy to witness art by masters like Leonardo da Vinci. It's a standard starting point for students interested in a career in art or art education. Although many students contact their college counselor for programs offered for credit through the school they are attending, There are alternatives that can meet the criteria for credits and internship standards. Programs like:

Cultural Experiences Abroad (CEA). CEA caters to students interested in studying architecture, foreign languages, history, art, and the humanities in 14 different countries. They offer funding alternatives and scholarships for those who qualify and students have a choice of several European countries.

IIEPassport run by the Institute of International Education, has programs that send students to 50 different cities with scholarships and other funding options available for art students and others interested in an international experience.
