Artfire Releases New Features: Google Base, Thefind.Com, Rearrange Studio

Artfire Continues to Deliver What Sellers Want

Artfire has consistently listened to their sellers and delivered what the sellers want. There have been many new and exciting features released in the last few months that will help sellers run their business more efficiently and be better able to compete in the global e-commerce market.

Artfire recently partnered with thefind.com which is a high powered search site for products and merchandise. Artfire automatically creates a feed with store data to upload to thefind.com Thefind.com receives 5-8 million US visitors per month so this has potential to dramatically increase Artfire sellers' sales. Tony also mentions in this forum thread that you can see popular searches on thefind.com to research keywords.

Frustrated sellers from every venue are frustrated at the lack of phone support. Many problems can be taken care of via email, but sometimes a seller needs an answer to a question or problem immediately. Now Pro Sellers can take advantage of telephone support from Artfire. Phone support is available as of late April. This is only available to Pro Sellers who pay a monthly fee to Artfire to have a studio. The number will be available under My Artfire.

The new Artfire Merchandizer allows the studio owner to reorder products in their studio. This can help create a cohesive look to draw the shopper in and allow them to browse like items. According to Kevin in this forum thread, there is a drag and drop tool that makes it easy to rearrange your products.

Artfire automatically uploads a feed of seller's items to Google Base which is where the products come from for Google Shopping. Sometimes Google will reject a listing and it can be a guessing game to find out what word or phrase Google has rejected. Now with Base Doctor at Artfire you can find out exactly why Google has rejected your product and fix the problem as needed. Unfortunately, Google does not always provide a reason for rejecting an item. If there is no reason given from Google, there will not be a reason given for Base Doctor.

These are exciting new features for Artfire studio owners. All of these features save time for the seller and help drive customers to your studio. The Merchandizer helps keep your customer in your studio. These features, along with other features only Artfire has available, make Artfire an attractive venue for selling handmade, vintage, and craft supplies.
