Article Submission: Do it Yourself, Auto, or Outsource

Whether you just like sharing your writing with others, or you are engaged in the ever-popular article marketing method, you need to figure out how to accomplish article submission.

Article submission entails submitting your keyword-specific articles to free article directories. You must also inclue a searchable title, an enticing summary, keyword tags, and an enticing author's bio with links back to your website or blog.

Most internet marketers agree that article submission is the hottest way to market your online business. But they don't all agree on HOW you should go about your article submission process.

Do-It-Yourself Article Submission

Of course, if you submit articles to the article directories yourself, you will save money. Doing it yourself is free. You have complete control over the entire article submission process and you can be 100% sure it is done the way you want it to. You can easily tweak keyword tags, author's bios and other sections at the last minute.

When you save money, however, you must spend more time. Manually submitting your keyword articles to directories can take a long time. Some internet business owners get around this by focusing on only the top five or ten directories. Some just muddle through long lists one at a time.

Automatic Article Submission

There are multiple websites and programs available that take care of article submission for you. You only need to plug in the title, summary, keywords, tags, author's bio, and the article itself and press the button. Of course, the program will also need to know your member name and password for multiple article directories. While this method of article submission sounds quick and easy, there is a larger margin of error. Also, if an article directory changes its system, the automatic program can become obsolete.

Outsourcing Article Submission

Outsourcing the article submission process is the best bet for online marketers with more money than time. Basically, you pay a freelancer a certain amount to manually submit your articles to multiple directories. This saves you a lot of time if it is in your budget.
