Ellen Degeneres Explains a Tiny Date

Charlize Theron as a special guest on The Ellen Show starring Ellen Degeneres got on the topic of her love life. Charlize Theron revealed to the audience that she was not married and in fact was single having only been in two serious relationships. Charlize Theron told Ellen Degeneres that celebrities got to be careful about who they are seen with off camera. Then Charlize Theron said that she would agree to a tiny date which would involve having a cup of coffee at the date's home.

Ellen Degeneres seemed confused about what Charlize Theron meant by a tiny date and said that even with just a cup of coffee out of the spotlight would still have the paparazzi talking and taking pictures. Charlize Theron then told Ellen Degeneres that she was not interested in a tiny date and at one time had a house full of dogs. Ellen Degeneres who is an animal lover agreed with Charlize Theron who is starring in the soon to be released movie, Young Adults, that dogs should be adopted and not purchased from the pet store.

The term tiny date was not fully explained and most likely Ellen Degeneres grabbed onto the words to keep the conversation moving smoothly. Ellen Degeneres is always playing games with the celebrities who come on her show and played the celebrity game with Charlize Theron. The game was played with Charlize Theron holding a picture of another famous celebrity over her head as Ellen throws out hints and the guest tries to identity the celebrity.

Just as Charlize Theron was unsuccessful with describing to Ellen Degeneres what constituted a tiny date, she was not able to identify Simon Cowell with the clues that were given. The guest had 30 seconds to complete the game and the winner was Ellen Degeneres resulting in Charlize Theron acting like the clues were not good enough to describe the cards.By the way, Ellen Degeneres gave great clues describing Simon Cowell as a co-host of a talent show and that he was a judge on the X-Factor.

But even though Charlize Theron did not satisfy Ellen Degeneres or the audience with what she meant by going on a tiny date to evade the paparazzi, the audience members were satisfied with the multitude of Christmas gifts that were given as a part of The Ellen Show 12 days of Chnristmas Give Away. The gifts to the entire studio audience included vacation trips, sunglasses, Dooney and Burke tote bags and smart phones.
