Thierry started drawing when he was really young at around the age of 3. He always knew that being an artist was what he wanted to do. He works best when he is at home surrounded by his books and music and frequently uses the Internet.
Thierry loves to draw the human body. He is more intrigued by drawing the female body. He is inspired to discover a different universe in his drawings. For example to go from a comic to a manga.
Drawing takes up about 10 hours a day, every day for Thierry. Until digital art came along his favorite medium was air brushing. Now he can do the same thing with a computer.
Thierry's family all have an artistic side. His father was a pop singer in the 60s. His mother was an ice skating champion. He has several uncles working in music and painting as well.
Thierry's favorite thing about being an artist is that he is free to explore his mind and free from the confines of a job with set hours. His least favorite thing about being an artist is that sometimes it is rather hard because he works alone. He admits that sometimes he has wanted to give up just so he would have time to do other things.
Thierry's favorite artists are Drew Struzan who is the illustrator of Steven Spielberg's movies as well as Robert Peak and Boris Vallejo.
Thierry is currently working for several clients doing editions, magazines and advertising. He is also preparing his 10th book called How to Draw Horses for his French editor.
At this point in time Thierry does not accept commissions.
In his spare time he loves to go to the cinema, have fun with his friends and joke around.
When asked his view point on his images and art usage on the Internet he states "I think it is a good thing to let the images leave the Internet. If it is without any profit it is okay for me."
Thierry's message to children is to keep your dreams alive.
Thierry's message to aspiring artists is to never give up. Always follow your way and don't listen to people who think that it's not a serious job.
Thierry's message to all his viewers and fans is to enjoy his art. He would love to hear what everyone thinks of his art. It makes him feel better about drawing when he has a fan following
Thierry's art can be found at Mapage.
