Aryan Descendents in Asia

Aryan is an English word derived from the Sanskrit"Ārya"meaning"noble"or"honorable"."Aryan" peoples were often considered to be distinct from Semitic peoples. the word Aryan was adopted to refer not only to the Indo-Iranian people, but also to Indo-European speakers as a whole, including the Greeks, Romans and Germans. It was soon recognised that Balts, Celts and Slavs and Armenians also belonged to the same group. According to the bible, Aryans were descended from the tribe of Japhet, which was supposed to have expanded from Mount Ararat after the Flood. Iran and northern India seemed to be likely early areas of settlement for the Japhetites.

Aryan peoples in Asia are a collection of ethnic groups. They are spread across the Iranian plateau, stretching from the Hindu Kush to central Anatolia and from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf - a region that is sometimes termed Greater Iran. Aryan tribes are the ancestors of many modern peoples, including Persians, Kurds, Pashtuns, Tajiks (Eastern Persians), Balochs and many other groups.

Today, Persians lived at Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan. The Persian language is one of the world's oldest languages still in use. Most Persians in Iran are Shia Muslims follower. There are also smaller communities of Zoroastrians, Christians, Jews, and Bahá'ís among Persians people. Physical characteristic of Persians is A tall, slender, fair-skinned people with brown, blue or green eyes and often with red or blond hair.

Kurds lived at an area that includes adjacent parts of Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. Most Kurds speak Kurdish, an Indo-European language of the Iranian branch. According to the CIA World Factbook,55% of the world's Kurds live in Turkey, about 20% each in Iran and Iraq, and a bit over 5% in Syria. These estimates place the total number of Kurds at somewhere between 27 and 36 million. Kurdish culture is a legacy from the various ancient peoples who shaped modern Kurds and their society, but primarily of three layers of indigenous Hurrian, Medes (Ancient Iranian), and Islamic roots. The original religion of the Kurds was Yazidism,but today, the majority of Kurds are officially Sunni Islam follower.

Pashtun lived at Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pashtun usually called Pathan. The Pashtuns are typically characterized by their usage of the Pashto language and practice of Pashtunwali, which is a traditional code of conduct and honor. The total population of the Pasthun is estimated to be around 42 million. Most Pashtuns are Sunni Muslims, while some follow Shia Islam or other sects.

Tājik is a term generally applied to Persian-speaking peoples of Persian origin living east and northeast of present-day Iran. The traditional Tajik homelands are in present-day Afghanistan, Tajikistan, southern Uzbekistan and south western China. "Tājik" is a word of Turko-Mongol origin which means "Non-Turk". Physically, most Tajiks resemble the Mediterranean-caucasian people. The typical Tajik has dark hair and eyes, and medium to fair skin. Light hair and eyes are relatively common, particularly in northern regions such as Badakhshan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, western China and Kashmir. The great majority of Tajiks follow the Sunni Islam, and Ismaili Shia minorities also exist in Badakhshan region.

The Baloch are an Iranian people inhabiting the region of Balochistan in the southeast corner of the Iranian plateau in Southwest Asia, including parts of Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. The Baloch speak Balochi. Baloch population is estimated at about 8 million, which 65 percent of the total Baloch population live in Pakistan. The great majority of Baloch follow the Sunni Islam.

Aryan people in Asia celebrated Nowrūz (is the traditional Iranian new year holiday). Today, the festival of Nowruz is celebrated in many countries, such as Iran, Iraq and Turkey (by The Kurds), Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and India.
