As I Am!
I am happy with myself
though perfect I am not
I am sure things could be changed
but I'd be trying to be someone I am not.

No time to please others
Life is all too short
All I can do is be the best
I can be, just as I am.
And if this troubles anyone
all that I can say
Is I accept you as you are
won't you please do the same.

A very good sentiment! We often get caught up in how we think we should be based on other's perspectives. Best to be true to ourselves!
I love this. We all spend so much time worrying about others accepting us and trying to improve (not to say that is bad), but we should work on what makes us more of who we are. Great poem!

I do not accept me as I am..I often wonder why and try to change or impprove on each little thing! Makes for being miserable sometimes, yet at other times, I am happy with the changes.
