As Seen on Jon & Kate Plus Eight: Em Tanner Designs
You Can Have Them Too!
While watching (and watching, and watching ...) the shows, I have noticed some products that seem to appear every so often. For instance, the kids have cute colorful plates personalized with their names.
The kids also have fun T-shirts with their names, and others with "Lil' Sis", "Lil' Bro", or similar clever wording.
You probably saw the "Chores" episode, where Kate used a funky and colorful dry erase chore chart for the family.
Okay - WHERE are these cute products coming from?
After some research, I had my answer: Em Tanner Designs.
So who or what IS Em Tanner? Well, Emily Tanner (yes, that's her name!) is an artist and photographer with a degree in finance. She started her own company, designing shirts, lunchboxes, plates, dry erase family planners, and stork signs to announce new arrivals. Em lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, is married, and has four children of her own (including 3-year-old twins). Her website, www.emtannerdesigns.com, describes her style as "fresh and funky" and I whole-heartedly agree!
You can order all of her products online, and they are also in several stores (see her website for locations). Check out the website and you can bring home a little bit of Jon & Kate!

Post a CommentI have watched every show. I see Kate going hard on Jon BUT if he was more responsible with the kids I dont think shed have to. Men generally have a problem being responsible anyway. Someone wrote in a blog somewhere - Since everything has happened Kate has went on and made a career for herself what has Jon done. I think that shows who really takes care of those kids financially emotionally spiritually morally RESPONSIBLY. Plus if your spouse is doing something to you that you dont like and feel they will not stop do the responsible thing and LEAVE. DONT grab onto a scape-goat, demoralize yourself set a horrible example for your kids-who look to you for guidance on how to be- and CHEAT. Its not fair to your kids spouse or the person with whom youre cheating - who you make feel ALOT more special than you really believe they are and that they are. I too am a mom of eight, however two of them are not with us any longer. Love them as much as possible. Mine are all grown now, but would love to go back when they were all little. You are doing a wonderful job. You are so organized. What a great set of parents. I really enjoyed the renewal of vows. Wonderful,although I do not know how you kept from crying. Great show!!!!!!!
