Its a blessing, living in the year two thousand and ten
Opportunities at our finger tips and technology so fine
Cost of living and gasoline seemed to be rising high
While the fortunate live well, the least fortunate, asking why
And remembering the years of the seventies so well
as Sweet Sugar Gets Bitter, when burnt till it is brown
Then added to meat, tasty, with sweet aroma all around
Opportunities at our finger tips and technology so fine
Cost of living and gasoline seemed to be rising high
While the fortunate live well, the least fortunate, asking why
And remembering the years of the seventies so well
as Sweet Sugar Gets Bitter, when burnt till it is brown
Then added to meat, tasty, with sweet aroma all around
To compare and reminisce, not take things for granted
But use the wisdom and knowledge of those who have departed
As we pressed on in a world fill with challenges, and changes
Trying to adapt to life perception on how we live
as we long to taste the bitter with the sweet
Live, Love, Laugh, and let our emotions run deep
In a complicated world where rewards can be reaped.
