Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company Voted Best Pizza in Western North Carolina 7 Years and Counting!

Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company is one of the hottest places to hang out here in the Asheville area. Offering a wide variety of excellent pizzas, great brews, and cheap movies, the "Brew n View", as it is locally known is a solution to the problem of never having anything to do around here. Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company is located on Merrimon Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina, and offers some of the best pizza you can find locally. Here is my take on the restuarant and what it has to offer.

The pizza here is so great people have given it the Best Pizza in Western North Carolina award for the last seven years, and counting. However, if pizza is not your thing, do not worry; they have plenty of other good stuff for you! The menu includes salads, quesadillas, burgers, and more.

Prices on the food are not so bad either. Appetizers range from $2.99-$7.99. Burgers and quesadillas range from $5.95-$6.99. Sandwiches range from $4.99-$6.99. Pasta ranges from $5.99-$6.99

Pizzas come in a variety of sizes with a nice price to match. 8-inch pizzas start at $4.99 with additional toppings $.50/each. 12-inch pizzas start at $8.49 with additional toppings at 1.50 each. 15-inch large pizzas start at $11.99 and additional toppings are $1.75 each. The 18-inch jumbo pizza starts at $13.49 and toppings are $1.95 each. Vegetable topping choices include: garlic, roasted red peppers, red and/or white onion, mushrooms, corn portabella mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, spinach, broccoli, cucumbers, banana peppers, yellow peppers, green and/or red peppers, roma tomatoes black or green olives, jalapenos, and black beans.

Meat topping choices include pepperoni, Cajun chicken, grilled chicken, beef, ham, bacon, Italian sausage, chorizo, and even spam. Other toppings include provolone, Swiss, cheddar, smoked gouda, gorgonzola , feta , pesto, pineapple, peanuts, walnuts, almonds, anchovies , and tofu. As if there were not enough choices already, you can even choose your dough and a sauce.

Dough options are Original, Parmesan, Peppercorn, Sesame Seed, and Honey Wheat. Sauce options are Original, BBQ, pesto, creamy garlic butter, zesty alfredo. The possibilities are endless, and believe me there are some yummy combos! One of my favorites is the parmesan crust with alfredo or creamy garlic butter sauce with grilled chicken, sundried tomatoes, spinach and feta cheese. I am drooling at the thought!

Their beer is just as good as the pizza and you can purchase refillable containers for it. Eight different beers are on tap. I won't go into anymore details here. You will just have to check it out for yourself.

If you missed a movie in theatres and it has not quite made it to rental yet, check here. Every week they show two movies at 7pm and 10pm. At $3 per ticket, you can imagine that these seats fill up quickly, and they do! One-day advance purchase (in person only) is allowed. The theatre only seats 150 people and it is in lawn chairs and couches for a more laid-back atmosphere.

Tuesday night is family night, and they have a lunch buffet. Recently they have opened a full liquor bar! If your mouth is not watering yet, I think you need to go to the doctor. Then head on over for some excellent food, beer, and a movie!
