Ashlee Simpson Wentz, Olivia Wilde File for Divorce; Eva Longoria Just Starting Over (Links)

A shocking news report that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has filed for divorce from husband Pete Wentz this morning (February 9) was just issued by RadarOnline.com. This comes just one day after the announcement that Olivia Wilde is leaving her husband, Tao Ruspoli, after eight years of marriage.

But maybe the soon-to-be single women can take a page out of Eva Longoria's book. Longoria's divorce from Tony Parker was just granted last week after the high-profile couple was married for three years and appeared to look strong.

Appearances, however, can be very deceiving. If the report about Simpson-Wentz is true, there will more than likely be millions of fans shocked of the demise of Ashlee and Fall Out Boy rock star's marriage.

RadarOnline.com's story about Ashlee and Pete does not have many details but certainly by the end of the day, many tabloids will be releasing more details.

Most people already know that another shocking divorce is pending with House, MD star Olivia Wilde who has separated from husband Tao Ruspoli.

Olivia has been on a wild ride lately with her multiple successes first as an actress on House which she joined in 2007, and in her numerous movie projects including Cowboys and Aliens with Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig, as well as Welcome to People which is scheduled for release in 2012.

Olivia married Tao Ruspoli when she was only 19 years old in a school bus in Virginia. Ruspoli is a filmmaker and musician and the son of late Italian Prince Dado Ruspoli.

As to why the couple split, there is speculation that Olivia married at too young an age and needs to indulge the whims she shelved after taking vows. A source spoke with Us Magazine.com and said "Her career has exploded and she saw being married is not as much fun. She feels she missed out on being single getting married so young, and wants to sow her wild oats."

Apparently, Tao Ruspoli is not taking the news well and according to a source "is heartbroken and really wanted to stay together."

But perhaps Ashlee and Olivia can learn from the beautiful and talented Eva Longoria who just dropped Parker from her previously hyphenated surname.

Parker and Longoria's divorce was just finalized last week, but Longoria is already in the process of moving on. She just recently tweeted, "Starting over is hard to do, but life goes on. I pray for strength, courage and wisdom on my new journey."

Eva's new journey may be even easier as she is reportedly dating Eduardo Cruz (Penelope Cruz' younger brother).
