Price and Availability
Ashley furniture is made by Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc., located in Arcadia, Wisconsin. According to their website, they are "The #1 selling home furniture brand in North America." The company has also been "accredited as meeting BBBOnline standards."
This manufacturer doesn't sell to the public directly. Instead, to purchase an Ashley Furniture DuraPella Chaise (or any Ashley furniture) you need to locate one of their HomeStores or dealers. There's a "Where to Shop" tab on their website that will help you do this.
As for the price of an Ashley Furniture DuraPella Chaise, it depends where you buy it. I purchased mine on clearance at a furniture store. I think the original price was $199., but I paid $149. plus tax.
Usage Results and Conclusion
When Guy saw my Ashley Furniture DuraPella Chaise, he quipped, "I feel like I should be lying down on it, with you sitting beside me holding a pen and pad, asking me to tell you all my troubles." Funny. It may resemble a psychiatrist's couch, but it's definitely a unique piece of furniture.
My Ashley Furniture DuraPella Chaise is covered with "Durapella®" upholstery. It's a soft, plush "MicroDenier Polyester" suede. I know when my cats have walked across my chaise because you can see their paw prints. According to the company website, DuraPella is "durable and stain-resistant." I can attest to it being stain-resistant. I've already cleaned a spot of greasy butter and drops of blood off my Ashley Furniture DuraPella Chaise. A soft, damp cloth and a couple drops of liquid soap cleaned both stains quickly and easily. I'm impressed!
I like the way my Ashley Furniture DuraPella Chaise looks and feels. It's contemporary and stylish. It's affordable. I also like the way it sits- it has a thick, yet rather firm cushion. All in all, I like Ashley Furniture and will probably buy more pieces of it.
As for my Ashley Furniture DuraPella Chaise specifically, I'm very happy with it too.
Note: All products are trademarked by their respective companies.

What a bargain for a piece of furniture that's this comfy...
cool sounds real nice!!!!
Sounds comfortable. When we were ready to get rid of an old love seat, I was looking forward to a plush recliner. But my hubbie fell in love with this other love seat & ottoman. He works hard all day, so I gave in. (Shhh don't tell him - I don't like it at all!)
I had to laugh about the pad and pen. I bought a chair similar to a chaise a while back. Actually I bought two of them. I should have bought one. They take up too much room.
Sounds like a lovely chaise.
