Ashley Hebert Chosen as Next 'Bachelorette'

Renee Bagley
The new Bachelorette has been named! Ashley Hebert, who was third runner up to winning 'Bachelor' Brad Womack's heart will be on the new season as the leading lady.

Womack may have chosen Emily Maynard on 'The Bachelor,' but after seeing the 'After The Final Rose,' perhaps Hebert got the better end of the deal. In fact, I'm sure of it.

Ashley is a 26-year-old dental student, from Madawaska, Maine who showed fans that her career came first. Although she took time off to compete on the show she is currently enrolled in her fourth year at the University of Pennsylvania. So it's surprising she was chosen to lead the new season.

Then again, Ashley's likable and beautiful which makes her much more personable than say crazy eyes Michelle, who many fans were hoping to see in the new season. I think Chantal O'Brien would have made a good 'Bachelorette', much more interesting, but maybe not as much a people person as Ashley.

Ashley will be thrown into the dating pool with 25 men, all competing for her heart. Who knows where her search for love will take her as the reality show is known for taking its cast members on exotic locations, with one of a kind adventures.

The next season of 'The Bachelorette' debuts on May 23, 2011 on ABC. Will you be watching? Share your thoughts on the season in the comments section.
