Ashley Tisdale has a very active music and acting career now and she works hard to stay in shape and at the top of her game.
To get in shape to appear as a college athlete she completes numerous hard workouts each week. Six time a week she works out with a personal trainer who gets her to life weights and practice kickboxing sessions for one hour each session.
Regarding kickboxing Ashley says, "It's [kickboxing] great for cardio. It's great for your abs and your whole body. Weight training is great for toning up and leaning up without bulking up. But the kickboxing is really amazing because it just works everything at once."
She isn't working out to lose weight, but she wants to stay toned and feel good about herself. It doesn't hurt that she needs to stay in shape for her career, especially if she is going to continue taking roles like her cheerleader character on Hellcats. She says she is currently in the best shape of her life and has never been fitter.
One minor problem? Ashley Tisdale does love to eat, and her coworkers will tell you that she eats a lot. "I eat a lot of food," she admits. "The guys are like, 'You eat more than we do!' It's kind of crazy. I eat food for the energy, and obviously I have to eat a lot because I'm burning so much."
She might eat a lot but clearly her workouts with the trainer are burning all the energy she consumes.
Additionally, Ashely Tisdale makes sure she eats healthy foods. She eats six smaller meals a day and avoids bad carbs instead preferring to munch on eating apples, hummus, celery, almond butter, as well as fish, steak or turkey. The high protein foods give her lots of energy to complete her workouts and keep up with her demanding career schedule.
Despite all the healthy food she consumes, Ashley Tisdale does have a health vice. Coffee. She refuses to give up her favorite drink. "Coffee! Folger's, actually, with Coffee Mate. It's the one thing I just can't give up," she admits.
