Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore Said to Be Swingers; Roberto Alomar Sued by His Wife for HIV Exposure; John Edwards Faces Legal Trouble

Celebrities in the News for Sex Scandals Today

Ashton Kutcher might have had sex with Brittney Jones without actually cheating on Demi Moore; former baseball great Roberto Alomar is being sued by his own wife for knowingly exposing her to HIV; former presidential hopeful John Edwards is coming under increasing government scrutiny for using campaign funds to cover his tracks from his affair with Rielle Hunter. Celebrity sex scandals continue to grow in number and complexity, it seems, as the summer of the celebrity sex tape is over and fall is in full swing.

As news broke over the past couple of weeks that Ashton Kutcher was being accused of cheating on wife Demi Moore with Brittney Jones, many were surprised (or as surprised as anybody can be when a celebrity is found to be cheating on his or her spouse).

But now Jones, who has been the one source for these stories, is saying that in fact Kutcher and Moore have an open marriage. While there has never been rumors that Kutcher and Moore are swingers, Jones claims that the couple enjoys threesomes and that Moore often picks out the women for Kutcher to sleep with. What was not clear by Jones' comments was whether or not she believes it is okay with Moore for Kutcher to have sex with other women without her present. If not, then technically, their marriage would not be accurately described as open, but rather as one in which they, well, 'play together'. It seems almost inevitable that in the upcoming days, weeks and months, the world at large will hear a lot more about the Kutcher and Moore marriage and if it is true that they have some kind of arrangement.

While thinking about Kutcher and Moore in an open marriage may be fun for some, the celebrity sex story involving former baseball all-star and presumed Hall of Fame candidate Roberto Alomar is anything but. Alomar's estranged wife, Maria Del Pilar Rivera Alomar, is suing him for having unprotected sex with her when he knew that he was HIV positive.

Rivera-Alomar claims that she has conclusive proof that Alomar is HIV positive, but didn't know it when she married him in 2009. Rivera-Alomar defended her husband from a nearly identical accusation and lawsuit made by a former girlfriend of his in 2009 that was ultimately settled out of court.

Finally, former Presidential candidate and North Carolina senator John Edwards, who had a sexual affair and love child with campaign aide Rielle Hunter, is under an increasingly wide and deep investigation involving allegations that he used campaign funds to cover up his dalliances. This may prove to be more troubling than the sex tape that Edwards and Hunter allegedly made.

The year old investigation expanded this week as a new round of subpoenas have been issued; even low level staffers are being called to testify on what they know.

So this week we have celebrity sex scandal stories ranging from the intriguing and fun to the serious and sad as Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are said to be in an open marriage featuring threesomes, Roberto Alomar faces new HIV allegations, and John Edwards deals with legal trouble over his sexual affair with a campaign staffer.
