Aspie

Kitty Stevens
Aspie is not a curse.
It is simply a step to another verse.
While the rest of the world is working one way,
The Apsie is thinking about everything and obsesses on the thing.

Give an Aspie a problem and get a result.
Language - no problem - we get it by default.
Or maybe we know the answer to life's great mysteries,
For me it was music and I love what I see.

Music is color and emotions that say,
What ironically words could never begin to convey.
The flow of the numbers within the musical score,
Means so much more to me than any stupid chore.

Genius takes some power away from the brain,
There is only so much energy to be used in one day.
Remember that Einstein and Jane Austin were potentially Aspies too,
So use that brain for the greater good.

Deep ... really deep ... what are the rest of us left to do?
I've been asleep for 34 years and living life in a lie hiding back all those tears and for nothing man.
Just a rhyme and a reason to fight every season without ever pleasing or my other hand.
The dark is unveiling. I hurt. I'm impaling through lover's land.
    And for nothing man.

Thanks for that great trip :)
