The Aspire ONE is compact. At 10 x 7 inches, it's smaller than a piece of paper. Closed, it's one inch high. Any bag that holds paper will tote the Aspire ONE. It's a perfect fit, especially in cities because you avoid "advertising" you're carrying a laptop.
Seniors, teens, and kids can easily travel with this tiny tech companion. It's a perfect fit for everyone on the go.
And when you get where you're going, the Aspire ONE has built-in Wi-Fi. So, you can shop online in the park or check your email in the coffee shop. Does it work? You betcha. The Aspire ONE is a perfect fit for people who want to keep in the know on the go.
Lightweight? Compact? It's probably not sturdy. My little pink Aspire ONE took a nasty fall from the bathroom sink onto the tiled floor. My rambunctious dog knocked it off the coffee table and my cat pushed it off the bed onto hardwood floors. Each time, my Aspire ONE was fine. So, it's a perfect fit for people with children and pets. It's much sturdier than it looks. Of course, it's best to avoid such calamities, just in case.
After all of this abuse, my Aspire ONE doesn't have a glitch. It's never had any glitches. It's as reliable as the sunrise. Everyday I open it, and everyday it works fine. So, if you value reliability and performance, the Aspire ONE is a perfect fit for you.
It's also a perfect fit for many budgets. I picked up my Aspire ONE for a mere $299. It's worth more because this netbook is:
Inexpensive
Lightweight
Compact
Easy to carry
Sturdy
Reliable
Fast
Absolutely no aggravation - (Worth $299 alone)
But does size matter? The answer is "yes." The Aspire ONE's small size is a PLUS. It fits in tight places such as small coffee shop tables. It's a perfect fit for small laps and it doesn't get hot like a large laptop.
There are a few aspects of the Aspire ONE that are not a perfect fit. One must get used to the small 10.1 screen. For some websites, "F11" is required. The Aspire ONE does not have an internal DVD ROM Drive. But an external drive is inexpensive. And the speakers are crap like "most" laptops. Earphones in the left/front jack...perfect fit! The money saved on the Aspire ONE's price easily covers any small expense.
Bottom line, the lightweight Aspire ONE is a perfect fit in more ways than not and you can't beat its price.

Post a Commentnice review here, and they are good laptops, but not for me...I have a wonderful gateway with lots of extras and love it.
I tried one but found it too small and slow for my needs - BUT, I did discover ACER and now use an ACER notebook, but with a 14.1" screen and 4GBs or DDRAM. Our own fingers and eyes are key variables in finding the best computer for most of us.
