Assassination Bureau, Ltd. Summary and Expository Essay

A Brief Summary of the Assassination Bureau, Ltd

Mr. B
Would the world be better place without the horrible people that have destroyed so many lives?

The Assassination Bureau is an organization that will take a humans life if that human has no morals or ethics what so ever.

In todays civilization morals are what run the world and the people who live in it. Morals are a social contract that everyone understand that they are not allowed to break. One social code is that humans shall not kill other humans for no other cause then self defense or consent. The Assassination Bureau when paid will end the existence of any human on the earth but only if that person is found morally unjust.

The Bureau itself is ethically crazy but they have lost sense of there morals. In the book a man by the name of Hall was out to destroy the Bureau and prove that they themselves where not morally correct and deserved to be destroyed by themselves.

Hall met the highest ranking leader of the Bureau which his name was Dragomiloff.

"You will guarantee to have any man I name."(Hall,31)

"That is correct, with the proviso, of course, that an investigation shows his execution to be justifiable."(Dragomiloff,31)

"Good. I understand perfectly. Any man I name, even if he should be my father, or yours?"(Hall,31)

"Yes; though as it happens I have neither father nor son."(Dragomiloff,32)

"The name men know him by is Ivan Dragomiloff."(Hall,32)

"I am compelled to believe that you mean me."(Dragomiloff,32)

Hall explained that he wanted to put a hit on Dragomiloff and he wanted the organization discontinued but to have this done he had to prove to Dragomiloff that he was guilty of creating a morally incorrect organization. Hall spent days upon days trying to convince that the killings that where made by the organization where not morally correct.

Hall after many days finally convinced Dragomiloff that his organization was not morally correct. Dragomiloff with his crazy ethics put a hit on himself and made it so the organization would be disbanded when the Assassins where either all dead, the year time limit was up, or when he was dead. Hall said to Dragomiloff that he didn't have to put the hit on himself but instead just disband the organization. Dragomiloff's ethics where so crazy that he said he wouldn't cancel the hit because Hall had already proved that his organization was morally wrong and ounce the message for a hit goes out it cannot be terminated or taken back.

The Assassination Bureau was built on ethics and no morals that where part of the social contract. The Bureau used the ethics they created and made them the morals of the organization. When they killed a person they themselves where being just as or worse morally then the person they killed.

The ethics that Bureau lived by where not ethics really at all they where rules that where higher in importance then the morals that the rest of the world lived by.

When the assassins went to destroy Dragomiloff they were being morally incorrect for trying to kill a man but when they attacked him and got killed themselves then Dragomiloff was being morally correct because he was defending his like.

The organization itself was not moral in the civilized world because it was destroying people who had committed a crime or a mistake and if they were to look at everyones back round everyone in the world would be killed for being morally and ethically wrong at one point in there lives.

Ethically the Bureau was correct by there own rules and would do everything within there limits to give what they customer had bought with there money and not giving them more or less then what they asked for. If the Bureau could not kill the person within a year the customer would get there money back in full plus ten percent of that.

The Assassination Bureau in my eyes was ethically crazy but had absolutely no morals from which should have been there bases when bringing the organization to life.
