Story : This game is extremely historical, and as such serves a major part of the game. If you get into the historic or story related details of a game, there's tons to engage you here. I can't divulge too many specific details because it would ruin the game for you, but there are some neat things in here if you choose to find them. Those who don't care much for exposition may not like the story details of this game. Consider yourself warned. I will say one thing though, if you like complete endings don't play this game.
Graphics : Assassin's Creed is loaded with incredible graphics. The atmosphere is simply incredible and they really outdid themselves in this one. Everything is drawn and animated with the utmost care and precision. There's a lot to admire here and you should take your time and take it in. There were no graphical glitches that I could see in my run in the game. The camera is mostly good with only a few occurrences where I couldn't see something important.
Sound : The music here fits decently. There's nothing amazing here but nothing too bad either. The music is mostly ambient, made to just slip into the background and be something that slightly enhances the other stuff that's going on. The songs in this game are plentiful in number but low in catchy melodies. Instead it's the usual ambient stuff. The sound is likewise decent, but not amazing. Everything sounds as it's supposed to but the detail in the sound is just mediocre at best.
Game play : And now, the game play. Where do I begin? Well, I'll just be honest. It's a very simple game, both in difficulty and in control. Everything in this game is either absurdly easy or ridiculously hard. Jumping and running in this game is very easy. The controls are responsive, but since everything is so easy they don't particularly need to be.
The game is loaded with exposition, which really hurts it. That is, you have to do a bunch of useless and boring stuff before you get to the assassination. Very unfortunate and overall not very fun. There's tons of traveling, tons of mindless fighting, and tons of everything that isn't fun about this game. To make a long story short, this game's assassinations and combat are decently fun but everything else is a chore.
Re playability : There isn't any. Pass on this one.
Overall : 4/10. I'll give this game a 4 overall, just based on the great graphics and the decent story. The game play leaves a lot to be desired.
