Associated Content and the Domino Effect

Saundra Derringer
Silly though it may sound, I want to thank Associated Content for the small changes it has set into motion in my life. Originally, I started to write content through AC as a sort of self help tool to release the pain and stress that I was feeling from the death of my father-in-law. I have become so busy browsing the Internet for interesting subjects to write about on AC that I sometimes get side tracked for days at a time and never end up getting my content written let alone have time to feel the sadness from the loss of our loved one. However, I have come to believe that not only has AC helped me through a difficult time in my life, it has also indirectly broadened my horizons by way of the domino effect.

Associated Content led me to Myspace, which led me to acquiring new and sometimes culturally different Myspace friends, which led me to helping to save Rain Forests and giving "thanks" to our troops, and so on and so on. Are you seeing the domino effect here? Sure, this is only a computer generated life that AC has led me to so far but you would have to truly know me like my family does in order to realize what a huge step even this is for me. And who knows, maybe in time, I will eventually step out of this computer world life and actually go out and have the confidence to meet people in real life and get physically involved in some of the things that are going on out there in the real world. Stranger things have happened I'm sure.

In the meantime, I have found some peace and comfort and yes, even a little fun because of Associated Content. It was through reading an article written by another content producer that I also found Inbox Dollars which led me to Winster, one of the best and most fun computer games that I have ever played! So, thank you again AC for the path that you have led me to and for giving someone like me the opportunity to write content on just about anything that my sometimes mixed up and somewhat warped little mind comes up with. I don't remember anymore how I came across Associated Content but I can tell you without a doubt that I am truly glad that I did.

Nice story. I too am glad to have found AC, after losing my brother it has been difficult for me, but I find comfort in writing for AC. Good luck and best wishes for you and your family!
