Associated Content Earnings Experiment

Amanda Thompson
In my spare time I like to write. I like to write short articles and throw them up on the web. I've been doing this at Associated Content for a few years now but have never been serious about making money with Associated Content. This is about to change.

Over the past few years I've added about 70 articles. That earns me around $4 a month in performance payments. Not much. I could get a lot more if I get more traffic to my articles and write more articles for Associated Content. So that's exactly what I am going to do.

The Mission: Making Money With Associated Content.

The Beginning: Currently making $4 a month.

The Time: 6 months long, to improve the performance payments, which is essentially passive income.

Can I do it? Have others done it? In a world where content sites are now the norm and barely pay pennies, is it even possible? The internet is packed with crappy content and I refuse to write that. So is it possible?

A little bit of research before embarking on this experiment shows these articles from people trying to make money or make a living with Associated Content.

It seems that even with people only publishing display only content you can still make money. It sucks to write for pennies, it's true, but if it's enjoyable and what I like to do in my spare time, then why not? Here begins the experiment!
