Associated Content Earnings Update 2

My last Associted Content Earnings Update was way back in September so I think I should update things. Except now we are the Yahoo Contributor Network so maybe this will be the end to updates. Or at least the end to updates that use the phrase Associated Content, since that is no more.

How have things gone since September 16? Well, not well. I tend to forget about my account here and my desire to write anything, so months pass without any added content. Work and life take priority and I skip a few months without logging in. This is how it's always been for me, since I joined in 2007.

While many people have grown massive amounts of content since 2007, I have not. I've not allowed myself the time or work effort to reach thousands of pieces of content. Instead I've simply added a piece or two every couple of months. Because of this I'm still below 100 articles on here. With less than 100 articles I clearly don't earn much. I realized in my last update that the key to success here is lots of articles but I just haven't followed through with my idea to write more of them. It has not been a priority for me.

Right now my performance views are giving me around 10-15 dollars per month and I'm okay with that. That's paying for a meal or two despite me doing hardly any work to continue it. I've never put much work into this and therefore I'm happy to get any money back from it.

Ideally I'd love to bump up my earnings to $50 a month. I'm not shooting for the stars or anything. I would just really love to have a nice solid number around 50 bucks a month from this site to maybe cover a bit of the groceries or a nice meal out. That would be lovely and is my ideal number. It would require a bit more work (perhaps another hundred articles?) but I could do it if I just remember to keep adding quality articles here. Eventually I will increase my earnings rate!

So that's it for me. I've increased my earnings a bit without trying and in the future I'd like to do that again. It would be nice to hit my target and maybe I can do that within the next few months. You never know!
