Sitting at the keyboard dreaming of aggressive vocabulary,
lethal headlines,
witty replies in the forums,
gentle threats to gain fandom...but gentle, oh-so gentle!
"I must, I must, I must increase my clout!"
It's your food and your emotional exertion
The inside of you, your heart clapping its fist at the increased page views
You don't run on coffee or blood, but article clicks,
and you live vicariously through the Top 1,000
An offer has been made, praise the gods of AC!
They're Santa, but it's not snowing outside
They're the Tooth Fairy, but your mouth isn't bleeding
They're the Fourth of July, if you're in the United States

So cute and true!
Looking back at this, I'm laughing at how inane the last few lines sound. What I meant "it's Santa"...etc was that the symbols of some of our favorite holidays are a lot like AC perks, only it's not literally like them because it's not snowing...etc.
