Working with AC has been a sporadic relationship for me. I publish a little and then other things pull me away.
Then I realize the market dominance AC has and how much potential there is so I come back but then life interrupts me again and its months before I log in.
The new feel and functionality of the the site is a great inspiration to get more active producing content on Associated Content!
I'm not sure if many of the features that I am noticing are new or just easier to find but AC is getting better and better but either way the change is good.
All the Important Work Information Is In One Place Now
There is a great reason why so many user applications are adopting the "Dashboard". When set up correctly dashboards give you immediate visual access to the important things you need to know and do and that makes it easier to work. The new AC lets you see your page view activity, how much money you are making, your assignments, and the other essential information of your writing business in one place.
No more clicking between several account areas to find out if the article I uploaded yesterday is published, paid and getting views!
Most of this information was here all along but it is so much more accessible now and as a spreadsheet junkie I can't wait to use the "export to file" button on the left side of the accounts area instead of manually inserting my data into Excel to keep track of my stats!
A Crisp and Uplifting Look
AC, you look ten years younger!
The site feels more energetic and I know that the pages load about the same speed as always but to me they feel crisper and dare I say happier?
The new look feels very professional with just the right amount of pizazz.
I'm not sure if it is easier to rate and comment on articles but it feels more comfortable. The sight feels friendlier which is a good thing.
If AC Can Change So Can I
There are so many things about my writing life that are mirrored by the old Associated Content style that I will have to write a separate article about this but in a nutshell my life works, I'm successful, most of what I do functions and there are people doing much worse but there is also room for improvement. Like AC I don't need to reinvent the wheel but my system could use a little spring in its step.
Associated Content seems to have improved on a good thing without changing it's soul. Change is scary but we can do it so I am going to take advantage of the changes here at AC and be inspired to look at old systems with a new friendlier face.
Lead the way, AC, lead the way!

Post a CommentApril, I tend to agree with you. I'm muddling my way through the changes, but all-in-all, it is a crisp, clean new look. Cheers.
I love the new look too. It inspires me to write a higher standard.
Love this and AC's new look! Your last statement "Lead the way, AC, lead the way!" says it all. AC is definitely always many steps ahead. :-)
