United Pentecostal Church International Missionary in the Making.

Nathan Stanford
On April 8th, 1986, Jaydie TanaMarie Johnson was born in Aurora, Colorado, but she is now a Associates in Missions working living in Lome, Toga, Africa. Jaydie always wanted to travel and her first opportunity came in the form of a 10 day Youth on Missions trip to Ghana in 2003. While there she fell in love with the people of West Africa and caught a burden for them. The two weeks in Ghana she saw 25 receive the Holy Ghost and felt the spirit of the Lord move in such a great way.

She has been preparing her life for the day the door would open to her to fulfill her calling. Her family was excited about her following her call and pushed her to follow the leading of the Lord. They of course were nervous about her about her safety. Jaydie has had to work seasonal jobs and fund raisers to raise money for her trips to Africa. She has a few monthly supporters helping her reach her calling.

After her trip to Ghana she came back home and went to Indiana Bible College for preparation in the ministry. She began praying for God to tell her where he wanted her. During the summer of her junior year she went back to Ghana to search the will of God and discover if that was the place for her to be. She did not feel that Ghana was the place God was calling her. During a conference the Lord spoke to her about the country of Mali in West Africa. There is no church and no saints from her Church Organization the United Pentecostal Church International in Mali. There is no officially recognized church that is to say one sanctioned by the government.

A United Pentecostal Church Leader suggested she go to Togo to work with a missionary couple, the Adams so she could learn French and the culture. Her first tasks were to learn French and the customs of the Togo people. When she first arrived she had only studied French about a month and no one spoke English at the airport. She spent a year working with the Adams and Bensons who had just come over as missionaries. We attended the University to learn French. We saw hundreds receive the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name.

She has helped with teaching the kids the Word of God. Instructing the teachers and pastors how to effectively reach their young people. She also taught them how to setup their Sunday School and Children's Evangelism programs.

When the local Internet is working she is able to communicate to her family back home. She can even use software to allow her to see and talk to her family. During the holidays she even opened presents live over the video. She has her FaceBook page, email and letters so she can stay in contact with her family back in the USA.

Jaydie fills she is in the perfect will of God and it is like a puzzle that has almost been finished. There is still one piece yet to fill and that is the Call to Mali. Pray for Jaydie and send her your support.

I am not connected in any way to Jaydie except I heard about her story on FaceBook and wanted to start spreading the news about Missionaries and Future Missionaries.
