Astrology of the Moon Signs Forecast for July 31 Through August 6, 2011

The new moon phase astrology is upon us. Say goodbye for now to the loose ends that crop up everywhere during the last quarter of the moon. Fresh energy infuses the atmosphere when the moon is on the increase. Also described as "waxing," we approach new beginnings during the celestial moment of earliest growth.

Sometimes my friends think I'm a bit touched when I explain what's happening during a certain astrology placement of a moon sign. Truly, though, I'm quite stable, but I find that linear thinking is an amenity rather than reality. I understand how linear thinking works, but it doesn't add in with my personal right brain reality (dyslexic.)

That's why I really like the writings of Sid Premak. His blog gives credibility to right brain perception. In any event, here is another quote from my favorite Wordpress author:

". . . we see our self as separate from others including the environment....the illusion of a separate self creates the illusion of time having a separate past and future...and this leads to the belief we have a separate and personal life story...all of which occurs because we are unable to perceive the infinite connections making up the interrelated environment"

This month the sun moves into Virgo, but the influence of the Virgin has been rife throughout the summer Dog Days, and this month contains two intervals of the moon sign occupying this sign. Virgo has qualities of cleanliness and purity. She sheds the virtue of patience into everyday life, and her influence is something to look forward to as the sun also enters her realm later in the month.

Overall, the week begins with symbolic purification, and winds up with a sultry and sexy weekend. Virgo and purity go hand in hand. A patience for detail enters the picture during this two day transit at the beginning of the week.

The Moonsigns of the day describe a general mood for everyone. These days need not match anyone's Sun Sign to be effective. The moon casts an emotional effect that affects everyone.

The times are modified depending on the hemisphere. If the Moon sign and the Sun sign match, it's usually a perk.

Colors for the day synchronize with the moonsign mood, and are good colors to wear on the specified days. These are also good for color meditations on the coordinating days.
