Astrology of the Moonsigns Forecast for February 27 Through March 5, 2011

This week in astrology begins with a serious note. Check responsibilities and take care of them early. Energy levels begin to pick up toward the end of the week. Use the early part of the week for winding up projects.

Two huge outer planets are doing their dance in the sky - Jupiter and Uranus. Every time these come into orb with one another, some kind of revolution happens. One example of this kind of energy manifested in the peace sign that a lot of revolutionaries are seen using in the current revolutionary trends in North Africa. Another is the Vietnam protests.

To quote Ed Tamplin, mundane astrologer extraordinaire:

"The US began to pull out of Vietnam - as they are the Middle East. Woodstock gave youth a voice - it was one of rebellion. Today the disconnect between people and government is widening to similar proportions." (italics added)

Though there is some time before the next eclipse, the following schedule applies to the remainder of eclipses this year. The last was on January 4.

Jun 01 North America - partial solar

June 15 Africa (eastern half) - total lunar eclipse

July 01 Indian Ocean - partial solar

Dec. 10 "Pacific Ocean near Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands." - total lunar

Midweek is taken up with a moon that's naturally opposing the sun. It's one of those times to accept that accomplishments will not sail through normally.

The end of the week is dreamy.

The Moonsigns of the day describe a general mood for everyone. These days need not match anyone's Sun Sign to be effective. The times are modified depending on the hemisphere. If the Moon sign and the Sun sign match, it's usually a perk.

Colors for the day synchronize with the moonsign mood. These are good colors to wear or to use for meditation

February 27
Sagittarius - cobalt blue, purple, tan
Sunday

Good travel or writing day. Dealings that need communication skills can go forward for this day. Ask for favors.

February 28, March 1
Capricorn - pink chocolate brown, black, indigo, flannel gray
Tuesday, Wednesday

Pay bills and make repairs.

Gardeners in the southern climates: good time to cultivate

March 2, 3
Aquarius - turquoise, or pink
Wednesday, Thursday

Be with friends. Read new age literature. Meditate. Aquarius isn't an accomplishment oriented sign. Have books ready to delve into for these two days. Expanding knowledge and consciousness goes forward easily. Slow traffic.

March 4, 5
Pisces - ocean green, red, violet
Friday, Saturday
New Moon on Friday

Pisces moon lends fluidity to Friday, and Saturday. Writing is favored, especially poetry. Beauty treatments work out well either day. Brewing is highlighted on these days of Pisces. Be careful not to overindulge.

Begin planning for any new projects on the horizon.
