Aries (March 21 to April 20): Experiencing the anger of an Aries often feels like you have a front row seat at Armageddon. Aries explodes without giving thought to the possible ramifications, and then is surprised about how short-lived their relationships are. This volatility is partially due to Aries constant need for excitement, and partially due to the fact that they have a hard time seeing the big picture. Sometimes Aries will use the threat of their anger to get others to do things.

Taurus (April 21 to May 21): Taurus is slow to anger; but once they get going, they cause as much damage as a bull in a china shop. Taurus will also not forgive easily those who have set them off. Part of the issue is that Taurus believes they are always right, and unless the other party is willing to give in, Taurus will resist any attempt to get them to change their position. One of the signs that Taurus is about to explode is when they become frosty.

Gemini (May 22 to June 21): Gemini's anger is all words. Gemini will bombard you with words, many of them in the five and ten dollar category; the bigger the word, the better. Sometimes Gemini is not particularly angry when they seem so, just passionate about exchanging ideas. This makes it hard to figure out how much trouble one is in. If you want any hope of winning an argument with a Gemini, better brush up on your use of logic. Gemini tends to ignore illogical proofs.

Cancer (June 22 to July 22): There is a good chance that you may never actually see Cancer openly express their anger. When they are upset, they retreat into their own world; in other words, they sulk. Often being told to leave them alone is the closest that you will get to being able to discuss the issue with them. Generally unaware of the desires of others, Cancer views any deviation from their plans to be a violation of their trust. Sometimes, they will test your loyalty.

Leo (July 23 to August 22): The quickest way to anger Leo is to demand something from them. Even if they would have willingly given it to you, once you demand something, Leo's vanity and need to be top dog will cause them to resist. Another way to anger Leo is to decide that they are too possessive of your time and energy. In Leo's mind, they are the most important person in the universe. Fortunately, you can get on their good side by flattering them.

Virgo (August 23 to September 22): Virgo seems to be the calmest of the zodiac signs. Truth of the matter is that they are so sensitive to criticism and busy trying to see all sides of any situation that they cannot muster the single-mindedness focus to allow their anger out. Instead, Virgo bottles up their anger deep in their bodies where it will manifest as digestive issues. One of the few ways they express anger is by following to the exact letter a badly worded request.

Libra (September 23 to October 22): Libra disguises their anger in the cloak of righteous. Libra will most loudly express their displeasure when they can claim that a situation is unfair to the collective. Libra wants situations to be democratic, but only if the majority agrees to their solution. It is ironic that Libra stresses the importance of the group, yet will refuse to their individuality to be sublimated into it. Their favorite argument is that we must stick together, even if it makes us all miserable.

Scorpio (October 23 to November 21): Scorpio claims to be above anger; those who have gotten on the wrong side of Scorpio will disagree. Despite their claim to be above such things, Scorpio will indulge in pettiness, sarcasm and brutal criticism. Their insecurity causes them to always be on the defensive, and their definition of strength centers around imposing their will upon others. It is only through self-awareness that they can evolve from a vampire that sucks you dry in an argument to a healer who guides and supports.

Sagittarius (November 22 to December 21): In an argument, Sagittarius will shot you full of dogmatic arrows. Sagittarius often believes that there is an absolute truth in a situation and that they are the embodiment of it. Sagittarius will tend to extend every logical argument you use to an absurd conclusion. Sagittarius, in the throes of anger, will use language and metaphors that would make a sailor blush. Fortunately, Sagittarius can be sidetracked, often galloping after a side-issue, forgetting completely the original cause of their displeasure.

Capricorn (December 22 to January 19): Capricorn will argue as if they are behind a desk; they assume the role of an authority about anything that they argue about. For the most part, Capricorn is detached from their anger. For them, anger is just another tool to help them get to their real goal, which is power. Because of their desire for power, Capricorn can be swayed by proof of material success. This often causes Capricorn to seem unsympathetic and opportunistic. To annoy them, attack their carefully crafted public image.

Aquarius (January 20 to February 18): Cold, aloof and unsympathetic are ways to describe Aquarius' attitude; zealot and fanatic are good descriptions of an angry Aquarius. One can hear the wildest ideas come out of Aquarius as they argue, many without the slightest chance of actually being satisfactory to anyone, including the Aquarius who uttered them. Aquarius gets most upset when people decide to change the traditional ways of doing things; this is in spite of the fact that Aquarius loudly proclaims how much they are in favor of change.

Pisces (February 19 to March 20): Pisces prefers to avoid confrontations until they feel that the time is right, then they will spray everyone down with the toxins of their emotions. A smart Pisces will avoid the argument, and seek to change people's minds behind the scenes using the ploy of being a generous supporter. If Pisces is drawn into an argument, their poor sense of self-worth will often result in self-destructive talk. Pisces should avoid mind-altering substances, for they are prone to becoming violent drunks.
