ASUS Eee Slate Tablet Consumer Review

The ASUS Eee Slate Tablet is a computer, digital picture album, word processor, and email and internet device all in one convenient, easy to carry package. I purchased the ASUS Eee Slate Tablet for use in a number of different tasks, both work and entertainment related, and I have not been disappointed with its functionality.

Easy to Carry

This tablet measures 12.3 inches by 8.2 inches a mere 0.7 inches thick. It weighs only 2.6 pounds, making it easy to take with me everywhere I go. It operates with the Windows 7 operating system, and features the Intel Core i5-470UM processor; with these powerful tools at my fingertips, I could do so much with my tablet that I did not even miss my old laptop.

Easy to Use

I love the touch screen which allows me to manipulate my screen with my fingertips, and with the touch of a digital button, I can call up a keyboard for typing emails or URL's. For accurate note taking or for ease of use, the tablet comes with a digitizer pen that works with the pressure sensitive display and Windows 7. I have found that there are occasions that call for each of these two modes of use.

Great Accessories

As if I had not already found enough to love about this tablet, it comes with Blue tooth capabilities and a Blue tooth keyboard, which is much easier to work with than the virtual keyboard on the screen. I found that I could type much faster with this option. When I am writing a quick Tweet or status update, I use the virtual keyboard, but if I want to compose a substantial email, I use the Blue tooth keyboard.

Great for Work and For Fun

By day, my ASUS Eee Slate Tablet is a planner, a record keeper, and a tool by which I can organize my materials virtually. I use it for email, for research, and for almost everything I used my PC for, except now I have it all at my fingertips.

By night, my tablet is my newspaper and my entertainment. I can use it to read books I have downloaded, view pictures, and even watch videos. The screen's resolution allows visibility from wide angles, so I can view photos and watch videos with others, and everyone can see the screen. The amazing graphics make my photos crystal clear, and make game playing come alive.
