At a Crossroads in Life: How Can I Create a Golden Opportunity from All of the Upheaval?

I am at a real crossroads at a tricky time in my life. My husband left last July, I will be made redundant this July, my kids are all teenagers and about to fly, and my mother is seriously ill in the U.S. I would appreciate some advice on how to move forward and turn it all into a golden opportunity.
