At Crystal Cruise Lines Kids Sail Free on Multi-generational Cruises
Ideal Cruising with New Kids Cruise on the West Coast
With an increase in families now living together, coexistence has also spilled over to spending recreational time together. There are many ways that a family can plan a vacation that includes children, parents, and grandparents. Some of the options can be more stressful than others, however. For instance, planning a family road trip may feel restrictive and confining unless you have a large RV. Flying is another option but with many of the airport hassles and multiple additional fees, many people are looking for alternatives.
One of the best ways to experience a vacation addressing a variety of needs and ages is a family vacation cruise. Unfortunately, cruises can often prove cost prohibitive to people with children. That may be changing as companies vie for those coveted travel dollars in 2011. One company has already gotten the jump offering deals on early bookings: Crystal Cruise Lines.
Crystal Cruises now offers families with kids 17 and under to "cruise for free on three Crystal Symphony Pacific Coast voyages next spring and fall," according to Crystal Cruise news release. When two adults pay their full fare, "children sailing in a third berth" are free. There are several options available that allow families to sail together. For instance, during Spring Break, and Thanksgiving, they offer a full seven-day cruise along the West Coast from Los Angeles to British Columbia under this program.
Crystal Cruises also offers a Family Memories program with a "$500 credit toward a Crystal Private Adventure, kids under 17 sail free in third berth, plus other perks for six full-fare bookings; all of this, plus one complimentary berth for 10 full-fare bookings. Promotional, Two-for-One cruise fares start at $2,650 per person, double occupancy, and include $500 per couple 'All Inclusive - As You Wish' shipboard credits, complimentary air transportation. The credits and air transportation apply only to full-fare bookings", according to Crystal Cruises.
Having the option of taking the kids for free will alleviate some of the financial restrictions that may have prevented kids from coming along in the past. Planning a family vacation that includes grandma and grandpa and the kids will afford a family much more than entertainment. Taking a cruise with the entire family will build memories that last a lifetime.
