Retreating behind the rolling hills;
Sparkling wave glisten;

Twilight makes its presence;
Light becomes dark;
The evening birds become quiet;
And the howl of coyotes;
Echo down from the mountains;
Fireflies put on a light show;
In the humid air of August;
And the world slips into;
An evening of peaceful sleep
