First, simply wash your face well with soap and water using a soft washcloth. It's important to use a soft washcloth so that you don't irritate or damage your skin, which can make it less healthy and make it burn. The brand of soap can be your choice, any one of your preference. However, my personal favorite is Dove because it gently moisturizes your skin and leaves it feeling smooth and silky.
Next, you will need a cotton ball and a bottle of Isopropyl rubbing alcohol. You can get a large package of cotton balls at Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, or Dollar General for a dollar or under. You can also get the bottle of rubbing alcohol at these stores and other similar ones as well for about a dollar as well. Then, you pour a small dab of alcohol on the cotton ball and gently apply it to any pimples you may have. For best results, press the alcohol coated cotton ball against an infected pore and hold it there for thirty seconds to a full minute, pressing firmly against the pimple.
How this works is simple. When you wash your face with soap and water, you are cleaning the oil and dead skin from your face, and when you apply alcohol to your pimples, the alcohol dries them up causing them to recede and disappear. It's that simple. You might have to repeat this treatment a couple of nights in a row, but I have seen pimples clear up by the next morning. To further prevent pimple outbreaks, make sure your wash your face well with soap and water every day. If you do, however, happen to develop a pimple, perform this alcohol treatment as soon as possible. As soon as you catch it, the faster it will clear up.
That's how you can clear up your pimples at home without having to test multiple products. It cost about two dollars for the cotton balls and alcohol, and they will last you for quite a while. Try this at home remedy and you'll be pleasantly surprised at the results that it'll provide-clear, smooth, healthy skin.
