If you are familiar with the Perimeter of I285 on the Northwest side near the entrance to GA 400, close to Perimeter Mall, near multiple business parks and hospitals, then you recognize the need for a quick, delicious lunch that is beyond mainstream fast food.

Rising Roll Gourmet Restaurant offers a wide menu of sandwiches, salads, and breakfast foods that will not only satisfy your appetite, but that are sure to summon you back for more of their hearty lunchtime fare.

Whether you are stuck in the hospital, office parks, or retail climate, take a trip over to 1140 Hammond Drive, Building K, Suite 105 and enjoy a fresh, made-from-scratch lunch that will satisfy your appetite, tantalize your palate an d probably leave you with food to take home for dinner, tomorrow's lunch, or an afternoon snack.

Rising Role offers gourmet sandwiches for little more than a dollar or two than you pay for fast food sandwiches where you may find you get skimped on meat, fillings or both. Rising Roll never skimps your food order, if anything you will end up with more food than you anticipated.

Some of the delicious menu offerings include a variety of Turkey Sandwiches:

• Turkey Cheezer: Fresh, oven roasted turkey with rich provolone cheese, fresh crisp lettuce, and succulent vine-ripe tomatoes. You can't find that combination of fresh, delicious foods in a fast food deli.

• Turkey and More: If you would like to taste an original flavor, try the Turkey and More for fresh turkey, with horseradish sauce, and topped with coleslaw. Originals that combine the foods you already love. The taste and freshness will literally blow you away.

• Turkey Lurkey: A sandwich that appeals to me with oven roasted turkey breast, provolone cheese, roasted reds, lettuce, and cucumbers. (I skip the mayo and Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard, but those who enjoy sandwich toppings tell me that the topics help orchestrate the perfect sandwich.

Turkey sandwiches roast beef, Italian, BBLT (double the bacon) and veggie sandwiches for those who don't care to eat meat or prefer a vegetarian lifestyle. You will be surprised by the variety of garden sandwiches offered by the Rising Role Gourmet deli.

I could say it doesn't get any better than this, but within the Rising Roll Gourmet deli it does. We haven't even talked about mouthwatering fresh egg salad sandwiches with vine-ripened tomatoes. I could go on and on.

When you plan to go to the Rising Roll Gourmet deli for the first time, allow enough time to scan the menu and their food items prepared freshly every day. There is no mixing yesterday's leftover in the potato salad you get a fresh batch of the best potato salad you've ever tasted every day.

I could go on and on without a complaint about anything Rising Roll Gourmet has to offer. When I'm in the area, I always stop in and always refer friends. If you want a refreshing change for lunch, I recommend you find them at 114 Hammond Drive (north of the Hospitals on Hammond). It's refreshing to drive within a mile of the hospital and get something to eat besides fast food. Give Rising Roll Gourmet the opportunity to offer you a fresh and tasty alternative.

You will be pleased with the fast, friendly service and the delicious foods from hot sandwiches, Panini's, salads, and soups.

Give them a try and you'll find yourself going back again. I highly recommend Rising Roll for a healthy, fresh, and wholesome alternative to drive through and pre-processed sandwiches.
