There are many places in Atlanta to enjoy a great yoga class both intown as well as in the outskirts. There are classes and and locations to suit everyone's needs and tastes. Whether you're one of those people that like big classes or if you need the personalized attention you'd find in a smaller class, chances are there is a class in this thriving metropolis for you. If you're looking to delve into the wonderful world of yoga, try one of these classes around the area.
1) Kashi Atlanta offers great classes ranging from beginner to advanced classes. They also regularly offer workshops and seminars on varying subjects such as detox and yoga basics. The Atlanta yoga club is currently promoting the arrival of Swami Jaya Devi Bhagavati, a world renowned yoga instructor, will be teaching seminars and workshops concentrated on cleansing the body and the mind. 2) Atlanta Yoga Club offers a variety of outdoor yoga, tai chi, budokon and pilates in parks all over the Atlanta area. A majority of the classes are held in Piedmont Park but there are several weekly classes held in Suwanee Town Center and John Howell Park in Virginia Highlands. Unlike many other yoga classes that meet on a regular basis, Atlanta Yoga Club also has "Retox at Park Tavern" for the Atlanta yogis who still like to have a good time when not harvesting their chi. 3) Atlanta Hot Yoga has two locations for the convenience of patrons, one in Buckhead and one in Vinings. They offer Power Yoga, Hot Yoga and Boot Camp. Their style of yoga is one in which the whole body is engaged in the movements and no person is left behind in the class, regardless of level of expertise.
