Atlantis Waits

Mythical, Magickal Atlantis

Atlantis Waits

Beneath the salty waves, I lie
My home a ruin, my life a sigh.

Currents change and currents flow
Yet here I lie deep down below.

Once I dreamed of love and light
Now I'm buried in endless night.

Oh, for one warm kiss of lover's lips
To wake me from this deep abyss.

Atlantis, Atlantis I dream of thee
Of towers white and magic sweet.

Oh, what dark destiny did we awake
when first we sought our desires to sate?

Beneath the waves, beneath the sea
My frozen heart calls out to thee.

Twas wrong to covet so much power.
The danger grew worse by the hour.

I felt its touch within my mind,
pure ecstasy of a different kind.

Then all went dark and all was lost.
Fulfilled desires, but at what cost?

Atlantis, Atlantis I dream of thee
of towers white and magic sweet.

Oh what dark destiny did we awake...

Beneath the waves, Atlantis waits...
