If you're in the process of searching for a new cordless phone solution for your house, then you'll want to make sure you get a phone that is going to last, give you clear reception, and have a long range to allow you to walk all over your house without concern of losing the call. The AT&T CL84109 is popular for some of its features that you most likely won't find on other cordless phones. This corded/cordless phone includes a corded handset on the base that will allow you to still make calls when the electricity goes out, and it accepts up to 12 cordless handsets that you might need for your house. With the technology that this phone is using, reviewers have been saying that the sound is incredibly clear and you won't pick up any outside interfering noises. This technology is referred to as Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications Technology. Not only does this phone come with these great extra features, but it also has the standards that most require in a cordless phone, such as caller ID memory, backlit keypad and a voicemail indicator.

Some of the other highly spoken about features of this phone includes unsurpassed range, clarity, 1 Additional Handset and charger included, dial-in-base speakerphone, handset speakerphones. The Caller ID allows up to 50 names and numbers will can be held in the history, call waiting compatible, display dial to let you see what numbers your are dialing, missed call indicator to help with not having to wonder what calls you missed when you were out, new call indicator for call screening, and voicemail waiting indicator. The answering systems allow call screening, memo recording, message time/day stamp, remote access for when you are away and want to receive your voice message, up to 11 minutes of recording time, and voice prompting.

A negative feature that has been a known issue with this phone is the fact that it can be quite complicated to set up. This cordless phone also doesn't come with a headset jack which may or may not be a necessary item for some people.

Compared to many of the other cordless phones on the market right now, the average price for the AT&T CL84109 is only $65.00. Four out of 5 ratings for this phone have been a great rating. You're pretty much getting a deal of buying two phones for the price of one.
