Clothing, food, drinks and snacks add up to the list of things you would want to bring with you. Note that most tracks allow only a limited number of food, drinks and snacks inside their racing gates. This may mean you take a full meal before the race or you may have your own tailgating bash at the track just before the race. You may carry just some few snacks and drinks with you inside the gates to watch the race.
When it comes to deciding on what clothing to bring with you while attending a live NASCAR race, the weather comes into question. Ensure you confirm with your local weather forecast how it is going to be before leaving the house. There is no nightmare on earth worse than being stuck outdoors in bad weather.
If the weather forecasts promises a bright sunny day, dress lightly, ensure you put on enough sunscreen and be able to carry some more with you. If there are chances of rain, ensure you carry an umbrella and raincoat so that you remain warm and dry throughout the race.
Other things that you may consider bringing with you include a NASCAR radio or scanner. Many die hard NASCAR fans find listening to the NASCAR drivers and their pit crew members as the ultimate experience of visiting the live race. You can rent a scanner online or get one at the track, tune in to the right frequencies and off you are set for a memorable experience.
You may also want to bring with you binoculars which are perfect for seeing as much of the live action as possible. It gets difficult for one to see all action; especially on the opposite end of the track hence one would need binoculars. A camera is of equal importance as the binoculars, the radio and scanners in your next trip to a live NASCAR race.
More often than not, if this is your first experience, you may want to document the experience hence taking photographs is the best way you can do that. A digital camera is ideal for such purposes, because most tracks prohibit the use of camcorders.
Finally, and most important of all, to have a memorable NASCAR race experience, bring your excitement with you, ensure you enjoy yourself to the maximum as you keep in mind that you went there to have fun. However, with the above items to bring along with you on track, you have got no option but to have fun in your next trip to a live NASCAR race.
