Attila the Bun: Being Bigger is Not Always an Advantage

A Bun, Some Huns and Fun

David A. Reinstein, LCSW

He was larger than the others
And had risen more than most;
No one would confuse him with
A mini-bagel
Or with a slice of toast.
He crossed the Alps
On an elephant's back
For his unusual girth
Was equated with
Extraordinary worth
And besides,
Attila was just too large
To fit into even
The tallest and strongest
Warrior's pack.

By the time they reached their destination
Attila was no more;
He'd been completely devoured
By hoards of unshowered
Lesser buns,
At least that's the
Popular lore.

Bigger may not always
Be better
But if it is edible,
It's ability to shrink
To feed others
Is incredible!
