Attracting Attention on Twitter

Unless you are a famous celebrity, and have fans already, it can be intimidating to try twitter. What I did was make friends with the famous people and then follow their followers selectively. If someone has lots of followers but doesn't follow anyone, they can have interesting content, but not provide you with a following.

While I have an interesting name, Jaalah sort of like J-lo, my goal is to get attention as a poet. But I also have an interest in science and economics. I put my poems on soul cast and give updates on twitter for my writing.

My way of getting 84 followers in less than eleven days was to post interesting content on twitter and link to interesting sites. I would like to say, it is working. I am a poet geek. I am conservative in some respects and believe that everyone demands respect and have a blog talk radio show on blogtalkradio.com/dupont_talks for a show on society and culture and entertainment. My goal is to show my inner geek to help women develop self esteem.

While not everyone has a cool name like me, they can get tweets by opening up discussion and providing insight into society and culture and keeping in touch with news and what people are into.

I am a proud Honor Student. And I talk about my struggles to get taken seriously. They used to want me to model but like I said before. I'm not an anorexic junkie. I like studying science and economics on my own and talking about them on twitter.

If anyone wants to get recognition for their ideas, twitter is a good place to start. It helps you get plugged in and learn about interesting things. I use twitter to get interest and then tell them about my other writing.

I like twitter a lot and by providing information you can quickly make friends with savvy twitterers who have a following and are interesting people.

Not everyone is trying to promote an e book and the less you try to sell a product and just get good info out there, the more "luck" you'll have. I may be a geeky poet, but, I now have attracted a lot of attention in less than eleven days. You don't have to be online 24/7 you can still sleep. I find by following people who follow you as long as they aren't the free laptop people, you will do pretty good.
