Attraction
Why is it that I am so drawn toward him?
With all the restraints of heart and mind,
What makes it plausible for me to continue?
And not only that, but go forward with
convictions becoming stronger each day.
I feel it!
whether it is with a shiver when his arm grazes mine in the solitude of darkness
or the satisfaction of a lifetime, when he calls me sweet things;
And, I
can go about life knowing what comes next
and yet,
not care for the world.
What is the reason for such embrace of pain and hurt?
Some call it madness, others irrationality,
But I call it a quest to find that
eternal love which exists...somewhere.
