Attraction Marketing: It's All About You

How You Can Market Better by Selling Yourself

Shawn Struck
The philosophy behind attraction marketing is simple: YOU are your most valuable brand asset. By engaging with your potential customers online via comments, web blogs, and other social media networks, you can position yourself as a reliable authority in your field. You can directly engage your potential clients in productive conversation. You can keep your finger on the pulse of what your clients are thinking, making even negative comments a blessing; your prospects are telling you exactly what to they don't like about your approach, your product, or your service. Attraction marketing is the best kind of network marketing you can cultivate; the leads qualify themselves to YOU!

In the hectic arena of online marketing, potential prospects have grown skeptical. Your customers have been pitched at, or sold to so often that they are inherently jaded. Traditional marketing becomes an exercise in at prospects, instead of engaging with them. There few things more likely to result in a loss of trust from your prospects than some slickly delivered sales pitch.

Attraction marketing is all about promoting your own personal brand, not your network marketing company or your business. By building your personal brand using blogs, YouTube videos, website comments and social networking media like Twitter, Facebook, or email newsletters, you can then attract like-minded prospects who connect or relate with your story, your background, your hometown, and so on. This in turn helps you build your leads, your contact lists, and shares their the value you have to offer.

In attraction marketing , your greatest tool is the value that you can bring to, and share with, others. By building a valuable skill set to share, or providing relevant and useful information to share, you are seen as a valuable resource. This in turn helps with your network marketing, as you become a person prospects seek out, and someone they trust.

The most important thing to remember about attraction marketing is that you must offer value, and you must do so without any expectation of personal gain. As long as you are genuine, and engage with your prospects honestly and with relevant insight-- whether it's blog comments or YouTube videos-- about something you are passionate about, you will build trust with your prospects. You should make sure that every marketing channel you use keeps this attraction marketing approach in mind.

For example, if you make an offer to your prospect on your landing page, over-deliver on your thank you page. If you use auto responder emails, give them a personal touch. After all, people follow people. People buy from other people that they trust. Attraction marketing is built on trust. Trust comes from prospects knowing you, and knowing what you stand for. It will be much more difficult to gain your prospect's trust if your communications with them have no personal touch at all. The success of attraction marketing shows that when you show you care about your prospects, this will reflect istelf throughout your entire sales funnel.
