Located in the north of the state of Indiana, the city of South Bend is one of the hidden gems of this incredibly beautiful state. Center for History

Housed on a historic site that includes a number of features including a Victorian mansion, a 1930s cottage, and a gallery of local history, the Center for History is the ideal choice for those who want to learn a about the history of this fascinating area. A visit to the Center will let you explore the beautiful Victorian mansion, with its beautiful furnishings of porcelain, silver, prints, and much else. You can also take a stroll through the historic gardens located in the center, which include such various flowers as lilies, peonies, lilacs, and numerous others. Potawatomi Zoo

If the animal world is more to your liking, then be sure to visit the Potawatomi Zoo, which features exhibits from a wide variety of habitats and that feature numerous animal species. Exhibits at the zoo include Australia, the Lion Exhibit Expansion, the Old World Monkey Exhibit, and the African Area, with such wide ranging animals as the Red Panda, Amur and Bengal Tigers, and Kangaroos. The Zoo also funds and carries out a number of educational programs, and the zoo is fully accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Studebaker National Museum
