Attractive Hairstyles for Men

Alright, gentleman. I have to say that I love to see guys actually working at having attractive hair again. Now, there have been several years of this, but until now, I had no reason to comment. Thank you, for making an effort to spruce up and give us a reason to pay attention. There were so many years of guys just rolling out of bed, throwing on something that would not flatter anyone and running around looking as if they had never heard of a shower, razor or toothbrush, not to mention a hairbrush or comb.

I am seeing a trend among the teen-aged boys, and good grooming is such an important habit. Now, for the fun part! I got to look at picture after picture of sexy men and the hairstyles they are sporting. There were so many terrific cuts, and what works for you will depend on your hair, your facial features and your personal taste, but I have found a few that were really terrific, and these are the cuts that I am seeing on people around me, not just on men who are famous.

An excellent place to start is Vin Diesel. No he does not generally have any hair, and he is one of the rare men that look seriously hot without it. This look tends to be best on men with fantastic facial bone structure, healthy even skin tones, and strong healthy bodies. I think the best skin tones for this look are a darker ones or a good even tan. Also, the shape of the skull and condition of the scalp are more prominent, so that must be taken into account, as well.Mr. Diesel has both in spades. The most important way to carry the bald look is to be supremely confident, as well. Also, there are no gels, sprays or mousses to apply. Talk about a wash and go look! Remember, just because there is no hair, does not mean a man cannot still get dandruff, so some dandruff shampoo would be helpful, and the small amount needed would make it last quite some time. Maintenance would mean shaving the scalp, but since the scruffy look is still pretty sexy, a man can get away with letting that go for a day or two before having to shave again.

Diesel's costar from The Fast and the Furious, Paul Walker, is an excellent example of a man who looks terrific with short hair. His eyes are a startling light blue, and his curly, light-brown hair with or without the blond highlights is a great contrast. With short hair, as well as no hair, it is necessary to have great bone structure, and Walker has definitely been blessed in that regard. While he is a lean and muscular man, he is obviously healthy and takes care of his body. Good health is essential to great hair, and I fully expect to see him still looking incredibly handsome with a healthy head of hair for many years to come. I find that rubbing the gel between both hands allows me to spread the gel more evenly. Then comb and spike the hair as desired. If using gel, it is not strictly necessary to use hair spray, but if using mousse, a light spritzing will keep the style in place without so much stiffness.

Again, good bone structure and facial features are necessary to rock this look the way Shemar does. This man is another specimen of a handsome, healthy man with a good dose of sexy mixed together. This a good compromise between having hair but not having to give it much thought. For many men, the convenience is perfect, and the maintenance would not be incredibly difficult. A good pair of clippers with only enough shaving to give the style some shape.

I know guys have to be sick of hearing about this one, but Orlando Bloom has some fantastic hair. Whether he's wearing a blond wig and playing an elf or a long-haired pirate, the man is a heart throb. Deal with it, fellas, women love to look at him. He has naturally curly, dark brown hair and it tends to be long in most pictures that are available on-line. This cut is short around the sides and back, a little bit longer on top and it looks as if it is just short enough on top to have some fantastic bed-head. Honestly, this picture looks as if some lucky woman was running her fingers through his hair then forced out of the way, so the photographer could get the shot. Depending on the hair type, this style might need some mousse. Gel would not be good, since it would make the hair stick together and lose the natural-looking appeal. Mousse can give more body to the thinner or finer hair to help accomplish this look. Some types might require a little spray to hold it, but not all.

While there are still some men who favor long hair and the possible styles that go with it, there are very few who take much care of it or do anything interesting with it. While a slicked-back pony tail is convenient and classy, this tied back top and sides while letting the length stay out in the back gives an impression of some Celtic warrior, and it accentuates the face. It has all of the class of being slicked back, but it also gives that primal sex appeal that many women just love. It is also easy to achieve this look. It is only necessary to comb back the bangs and sides of the hair, hold that part and either put it in a slim, unobtrusive ponytail holder or braid it and secure it with the pony tail holder. A man who can do something like this with his long hair and carry it off has to have confidence oozing out of his pores.

Well, these are some of the sexiest haircuts and styles on the Internet and on some of the sexiest men. Remember, look up hairstyles on-line, in magazines or in the books at the barber's or salon. Show them to the person who will be cutting and/or styling and discuss whether or not the cut will be flattering, reasonable to maintain and can the stylist do it. Most stylists will try to steer a customer away from bad decisions, since a bad experience will prevent return business. They will most likely be able to find a flattering look for their customers that will be a good compromise. Remember, to take into account the differences in people's hair color and texture, as well as the differences in skin color, bone structure and body types. What looks good on one person does not necessarily look good on anyone else. Also, make sure to get advice on different ways to style the cut, once it finished. The stylist will advise their customers to the best of their abilities, since a good head of hair is a wonderful advertisement of skills. Find the most attractive and suitable cut and style, and although the hair does not make the star, the confidence gained from having a rocking hair cut will be more than worth it.
